As I look forward to knowing and working with your child, I would like to share a little about myself.

I grew up in Hammond, Indiana. I attended Thomas Edison Elementary School and Trinity Lutheran during my elementary years. I graduated from Lake Central High School and received my B.A. degree from Purdue University Calumet and my Master’s Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

I've been teaching for 17 years. I taught two years of a private full day kindergarten in Lansing, Illinois and three years of fourth grade at Trinity Lutheran School. This is my 11th year with the Lake Central School Corporation. I previously taught kindergarten at Peifer, Kolling and Watson and am now pleased to settle in with my 7th year of second grade.

I enjoy playing softball, tennis, jogging, playing the piano, guitar and singing. My favorite things to do are spend time with my husband, family and friends.

I've always loved working with children. Even as far back as I can remember, I knew teaching was for me. I'm blessed to have had the opportunity to come to know so many wonderful families here in our Watson Community. It's a privilage to spend each day with such amazing children. It is my pledge to you that I will do all that I can to provide your child with a positive second grade experience!
